In spring 2024, I shot a documentary together with DOP Steven Lüdtke to celebrate Kilian Kerner’s 20th anniversary. In the 52-minute film, we look back on two very eventful decades in which the Berlin fashion designer has experienced a number of ups and downs — professionally, health-wise and emotionally.

In addition to Kilian himself, we were also able to win over long-time companions for our very personal interviews, including actress Jella Haase and stylist Ingo Nahrwold. Also in conversation: the models Lea Oude and Jermaine Kokoú Kothé, who won “Germany’s Next Top Model” in June 2024 and whom GNTM judge Kilian had chosen as the faces of his anniversary campaign during the season shoot in Los Angeles.
The documentary was published on July 10, 2024 on YouTube and on the website of the fashion magazine “Grazia”.
